Free Agent Registrants

Anyone registering without a partner for any event will be partnered up with a player of similar skill level. We will do our best to find everyone a partner but cannot guarantee we will find a partner for every free agent. If we are unable to find you a partner by December 31st, you will be offered a full refund. By December 15th, any player registered without a partner will be assumed to be a free agent and partnered up.

Swag and Awards

All participants will receive a commemorative 2027 pickleball tournament shirt, a swag bag from the Sin City Classic as well as wristbands which will get you into the closing party on Sunday night at Brooklyn Bowl. Medals/Trophies will be award to top finishers within each event.

Rules

Events

The divisions being offered this year are listed under "Brackets" with the days and times listed. Please be aware that divisions may be consolidated or split down further by skill level if there are too many or too few registrants in a bracket. This will help us evenly split divisions if needed and also to assign partners to those that need one. Also note that times may change slightly as we get closer to the tournament. If any of these changes happen and you no longer want to participate in a specific event, you may withdraw for a full refund for that event.

All divisions/events last about 3 hours and are contained within a single day. In other words, your division's play does not span more than one day. If you plan to participate in another sport, this is definitely possible.

Please note that division start and completion times can be delayed. If you are registered for a late afternoon event, please be aware that it could run over time and plan the rest of your day accordingly. If you are registered for two events thats occur one after another, we will not start the next event until the prior one ends.

If you do not have a partner, you may explore the list of players without partners to reach out to a player of your choosing or let us pair you up.

All divisions (other than MLP) will play round robin style in pods of 5-8. Everyone will play at least 4 matches. Matches will consist of single games to either 11 or 15 depending on the event and the number of teams in a pool. Smaller pools may be matches of 3 games per match. Top teams after round robin play will advance to a playoff round (other than MLP) and top finishers in each event will be awarded medals.

Event Descriptions

Mixed Doubles: One male and one female (or non cis-male)

Mixed Generation: One player must be 50 years of age or older and the other must be young that 50 years of age.

MLP: Minor League Pickleball format with 4 players. This was a very popular event last year and players had a great time. We are therefore expanding our MLP offerings this year into more divisions!. For MLP, each match consists of 4 doubles matches with each match being a different pairing of players on y our team. This will be round robin format and each individual match is a single game. If there is tie, a dreambreaker match will be played to 21 with rally scoring. The dreambreaker consists of singles play where players switch out every 4 points.

• MLP 14: Players ratings must add up to 14.5 or less. No individual player's rating can be greater than 4.0
• MLP 16: Players ratings must add up to 16.5 or less. No individual player's rating can be greater than 4.75
