LeAnn Rimes to Headline Inaugural Sin City Classic Concert
Grammy-Winning Superstar Will Take the Stage at the Brooklyn Bowl Before the Closing Party at the World’s Largest LGBTQ+ Sports Festival.
LOS ANGELES (December 3, 2025) – The Sin City Classic Sports Festival Presented by Lexus, the world’s largest LGBTQ+ sporting event, today announced that Grammy-winning LGBTQ+ advocate, ally, and crossover superstar and co-star of ABC TV & Hulu’s new TV series 9-1-1: Nashville LeAnn Rimes will be the inaugural performer for the festival’s annual Sin City Classic Concert, hosted just before the festival’s Closing Party at the Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on the LINQ Promenade. The 2026 Sin City Classic Sports Festival, hosted annually by the Greater Los Angeles Softball Association (GLASA), will take place January 15-19, 2026, in Las Vegas, with the Concert and Closing Party taking place on January 18.
“For decades, LeAnn Rimes has been a vocal supporter of and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. Now, more than ever, we need the voices of our allies to come forward, be loud, and remain steadfast as so many of the community’s rights are being stripped away,” said Sin City Classic Co-Executive Director Dr. Jason Peplinski. “We can’t wait for LeAnn Rimes to bring down the house for thousands of athletes, allies, and fans at this year’s Concert.”
Throughout her award-winning career, Rimes has been passionate about using her voice to change the world. She was honored with the Ally of Equality Award by the Human Rights Campaign for her over 20 years of support of LGBTQ+ rights, the 2019 HOPE Award for Depression Advocacy, and the 2009 ACM Humanitarian Award, among other recognitions.
Rimes continues to channel her voice in new ways, releasing CHANT: The Human & The Holy (EverLe Records / Thirty Tigers) in 2020, which spent five weeks at #1 on iTunes New Age Chart, as well as her iHeartRadio mental health and wholeness podcast, Wholly Human, that brings her lifestyle blog, Soul of EverLe, to life. Wholly Human, which currently has three seasons, previously reached #2 on iTunes Health & Fitness Chart, placed in the Top 35 overall for podcasts worldwide, and was named as one of the 15 best mental health podcasts that educate and empower listeners by Good Housekeeping.
Held each January during the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, the Sin City Classic kicks off with the Opening Night Registration Party held at the Flamingo Las Vegas. Competitions and nightly social events then take place around the city, with the weekend culminating in the Sin City Classic Concert and the festival’s Closing Party.
