Are there two events this year? I see a website for Sin City Classic and Sin City Shootout.
We changed the name of the event to Sin City Classic, and that is the only event we, GLASA, are running. The other website is our old site, and it is currently controlled by someone who is not associated with the event. We cannot guarantee that any information on that site is accurate. We apologize for the confusion and we are working diligently to rectify that situation.
Why did the name change from Sin City Shootout to Sin City Classic?
In honor of GLASA’s 40th anniversary, and in recognition of the tragic event in Orlando last year, we decided to change the name from Shootout to Classic.
Who is running the Sin City Classic?
The Sin City Classic (formerly Sin City Shootout) has always been run by GLASA - The Greater Los Angeles Softball Association. GLASA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promotion of amateur athletics with a special emphasis on the LGBT community.
